Join us in Jackson Heights for a Spanish-centered event that celebrates the launch of Faltas, Cecilia’s award-winning memoir. Her book has officially been translated into Spanish and published by Caja Negra Press in Argentina.
There will be performances, readings, and offerings by Liaam Winslet, Ms. Boogie, edua mercedes, viento izquierdo ugaz, Zuleyka Rosemberg, Máxima Whimsical, and Guarix — as well as limited books available for sale.

Join us for the second annual Cecilia Gentili Day as proclaimed by the City of New York. The celebration lands on what would have been Cecilia’s 54th birthday and brings together a fabulous lineup of her chosen family and friends.
Don’t miss Ceyenne Doroshow, Sara Ramirez, Maya Margarita, Victoria Von Blaque, Chiquitita, Ianne Fields Stewart, and Tiffany Caban — as well as vignettes from RED INK performed by Flower Estefana Rios.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD
Ondas / Waves is a small in-person gathering to listen to soundscapes using Cecilia's voice created by four sound artists who loved and were loved by her, including Ambrose, Samira Mendoza, Serena Jara, and Chicklet.
The sound ritual will be livestreamed on at the link below for those who want a space to connect to Cecilia and meditate on her life and our loss in a private but connected way. Wherever you are, we will all be listening together.
