🏳️‍⚧️✨ This Pride, let’s celebrate… but also sustain our community ✨🏳️‍⚧️

Every year, we take to the streets to celebrate our existence, our resistance, and the pride of being who we are. But behind every flag, every march, and every celebration, there are also stories of survival, struggle, and communities that still need support to keep going.

At Colectivo Intercultural TRANSgrediendo (CITG), we believe in the importance of creating and sustaining spaces led by and for TransGNB people, migrants, sex workers, QTBIPOC, and LGBTQI communities. Spaces where our people can find care, support, hope, dignity, and above all safety.

CITG is one of the first Trans-led community centers in Queens, NYC, built from our own lived realities, struggles, dreams, and needs. We understand what our communities face because we live it too.

Every day, we continue creating accompaniment, empowering our people, and building collective power through love, mutual aid, community outreach, food access, support groups, HIV prevention, wellness programs, and safer spaces for our communities.

Now more than ever, we need programs that are: Trans-specific. Trans-inclusive. Trans-led

At this moment, our communities continue facing enormous barriers to accessing healthcare, housing, food, and safe spaces. Many people are still surviving systems that continue to fail them.

Without community support, we cannot continue sustaining this work.

That is why today we invite you to donate, share our work, visit our community center, and support organizations led by Trans communities. Every dollar matters. Every donation matters. Every person who shares our work helps keep this movement alive.

Because love and collective power allow us to continue building a future where all people can live freely, safely, and with dignity.

Pride must also be a time to create real change and invest in the survival of our communities.
